Dimitri Schildmeijer
For eight years, Dimitri held various positions in the Communications and Public Affairs department of ExxonMobil, with assignments in The Netherlands and Belgium. He was a company spokesperson in The Netherlands. He worked on employee communications, regional PR, issues management, crisis preparedness and response, and media relations. Most recently he was the company’s Corporate Communications Manager for Europe, Africa, and the Middle East based in Brussels.
Dimitri also worked for more than three years as a communications consultant at Akkanto – an independent communications consultancy – in Brussels.
Throughout his career Dimitri has trained and prepared executives for public speaking and news media interviews.
Today, Dimitri is the Managing Director of AudienceOne – a Brussels based communication skills training company. For ten years prior, Dimitri was Partner in WPNT Communications and ran its European business. WPNT Communications is a US-based international training- and coaching firm.
Dimitri’s recent clients include international companies in technology, logistics, banking, pharma, energy, food and beverages and manufacturing – including several Fortune 100 companies. Dimitri also works as leadership coach for the European Commission. He has presented training programmes in more than 30 countries.
Dimitri is from The Netherlands. He holds a Master’s degree in communications from the University of Amsterdam. He lives in Brussels and speaks English, French and Dutch.
Bettina Hausmann
Bettina helps senior professionals step up as strategists, communicators and leaders. She has worked with CEOs, policy makers and other executives from more than 100 countries to help them develop a signature presence, master the media and manage crises.
Training highlights include coaching a national Minister for crisis interviews; rehearsing with the leader of an international organisation for BBC ‘HARDtalk’; and preparing high-level officials from national, European and US-American military, police and customs authorities for their TED-like talks at the European Coast and Border Days.
Bettina works across sectors, with strong credentials in public policy. She has provided communications training to the leadership of the GSA, SRB and FRONTEX agencies, as well as senior European Commission officials. She is part of the official pool of media trainers for the European Parliament. Five years ago, during the first EU refugee crisis, she prepared staff based in info centres along the refugee routes to communicate with European citizens.
Bettina has worked for almost ten years as an independent executive coach and trainer. Prior to that, she served for nine years as a director for global communications agency Hill and Knowlton Strategies, five years of which were spent as head of the European Public Policy division.
In the mid-90s, Bettina worked as an independent consultant for the German Federal Chancellery, writing various European and foreign policy speeches for Chancellor Helmut Kohl. She also has in-house experience with the European Commission. In the late nineties, Bettina worked as a project manager for the European Journalism Centre in the Netherlands, where she organized mid-career training for journalists.
Bettina is multilingual and thinks globally. A native German speaker, Bettina also works in English, French and Spanish.
Marine Champon
Marine Champon is a Senior Consultant and Senior Trainer, and expert in Crisis Communication & Stakeholder Dialogue.
Throughout her career, Marine has managed communication departments of international companies, on both internal and external communication sides, covering most environmental, health, social and financial issues. Her role has included communication strategy development, NGO dialogue-outreach programmes, as well as media relations at national and international level. She has also developed and implemented emergency response guidelines in international companies and trained and prepared managers for public speaking and news media interviews.
Marine works with companies on international media and crisis communications programmes, including crisis leadership, crisis media interaction and crisis communication. She has run media and crisis training programmes in Europe and Africa.
Marine has spent more than 15 years in corporate communications and crisis communications, for leading companies in the oil & gas and agribusiness sectors and has worked in the Government Relations/Lobbying department in Brussels for a Fortune 10 multinational energy company. She founded her own consultancy company in 2015, specialized in Crisis Communication & Stakeholder Dialogue. She also teaches Crisis Communication and Media relations at leading French universities such as Sciences Po, the University of Caen and the University of Bretagne.
She holds a Master’s degree in International Relations from Sciences Po Paris (Institute of Political Sciences in Paris); a Law Degree from Versailles University and an Executive Certificate on CSR & Sustainable Development from Centrale Paris.
Marine lives in France and speaks French, English and Spanish. Before that she lived for nearly 15 years in Africa (Morocco, Nigeria, Ghana, South Africa) and South America (Venezuela), whilst working part time for companies in Brazil, Peru and Mozambique.
